"The place is beautiful and everyone is so friendly. We came here for dinner before a comedy show and it was a great experience. The menu is small but the items on it are all really good options. We ordered two mocktails and when they came my MIL didn’t like hers. The owner immediately came over and asked what was wrong with it and went to make her another one. The second one wasn’t great either so he personally made her one and it was delicious. We ordered our food and enjoyed the fresh made bread and hummus dip while we waited. Once our food arrived we dug in, everything looked delicious. We ordered the a bunch of plates to share and we also couldn’t decide on just a couple things so we decided to try the majority of them. They were ALL delicious! It’s not very common to like every thing you order, but that was the case tonight. The salads were nothing grand and the greens on both were way too big to eat. We had to chop our own salad and the pita croutons were way too big and hard to eat, the shrimp was perfectly cooked and super flavorful. The grilled halloumi was very tasty but needed some honey to tie it all together. The filet skewers were good and flavorful and not fatty. I didn’t taste the rack of lamb, but from what I could tell it was really good. The French fries were perfectly cooked, not too crispy and not too soft. They drizzle a little yogurt sauce that adds the perfect amount of bitter to cut the saltiness of the fries. The owner came by to check how the food was and was soo open to feedback that it was kind of refreshing. He told us he just opened 5 weeks ago and was very open to ideas on improvement. It’s not very often you run into someone so willing to listen to their customers, but he was. He then went on to tell us the story of how the name was born (really cool story, ask if you can) and how he ended up in Sacramento with a restaurant. Such a personable guy that talking to him felt like we’ve known him for a long time. After we finished everything, it was that good, he came over and thanked us for being so open to likes/dislikes that he offered us a pistachio tiramisu on the house. That too was great, and I don’t normally like tiramisu but I went in for a third bite. Overall everything was great and the place is very comfortable and inviting. 10/10"

"My family and I had a wonderful feast of Mediterranean American dinner. We finished our dinner with pistachio tiramisu and Turkish coffee in these cutest coffee cups. For the bread service, we were served house made bread with house made sundried tomato dip/spread. The lamb and the skewer were perfectly tender. The beet salad was beautiful and tasty. My 9 year old kid loved the fries with yogurt. At first, he didn't want to try the fries with yogurt but was pleasantly surprised by the taste. My husband loved the zucchini dish. It was the fourth night of their soft opening. We were told that the chef's specialty is steaks, and they are working on 28-day dry aged rib eye steaks, which would be ready in weeks. The background music was soft - easy to talk. The atmosphere was classy. The service was friendly. The food was great and the price was good. We had a great night and look forward to coming back. Next time, whatever I'm going to have, I'll end the meal with a cup of Turkish coffee again. That was so special."

"Went here for a date night and ordered a few of the small plates. The zucchini fritters were AMAZING and honestly I’d go back just for those. We also got the flame grilled asparagus which was great and crispy mac and cheese. Key lime tart with meringue for dessert was delicious. They had a pretty decent selection of mocktails which I always appreciate since I don’t drink alcohol. Great ambience, very clean and service was great. Would be fun with a group of friends to share plates, for a special occasion or date night. Street parking in-front and surrounding streets."

"Field n Flame! The restaurant formerly known as Seoul St., then de Vere’s Irish Pub, and now it’s all about blending New American and modern Mediterranean cuisine in a laid-back, yet low-key fancy setting that captures Sacramento’s farm-to-fork vibe. 🌱 And get this—80% of their produce comes from local farms! Support your local farmers, people. 🙌 As an Armenian vegetarian, Mediterranean food is my upbringing. So many plant-based options—but here's the thing: outside the small plates and salads, the veggie options were a little lacking. Only one large veggie plate? I’m gonna need more! 😤 BUT! I am obsessed with homemade pasta and their pappardelle was everything it should be—hearty, chewy, and fresh. Pasta perfection. 🍝 Also, sun-dried tomato spread and house-made pita bread? Yes, chef. The Chef’s Mediterranean Bite Plate was great for sharing, and that Grilled Halloumi? Total star. 👏 I’ll be back for more veggie options—hoping they add more to the menu. 🌿 As for the waitstaff? Super friendly and attentive, but could definitely use a little more knowledge on the dishes. Maybe a quick menu refresher? 🤔 All in all, a solid spot. Can’t wait to come back for more! 💥 How I break down my star reviews: 1 - No. Not if it was the last thing on DoorDash. 🗑️ 2 - Meh. Maybe if I’m desperate, close, and high. 😬 3 - Mid. Not texting the group chat about it. 🤷‍♀️ 4 - Hella solid. Planning my next visit. 😋 5 - Shut up and take my money. Om Nom Nom. 🔥"

"Had an amazing dinner experience at Field N Flame. The atmosphere is warm and elegant—perfect for a relaxed night out. Every dish we tried was fantastic, but the real standout was the branzino—perfectly grilled, seasoned, and plated with a fresh, flavorful salad. Huge thanks to Head Chef Aykut for crafting such an incredible meal and to Bar Manager Josh for the top-notch drinks and friendly service. You can really tell this place is run with passion and attention to detail. Highly recommend this spot for anyone who appreciates great food and a welcoming vibe. We’ll definitely be back!"
