What Diners Are Saying
"Downtown Oakland gem. We were all delighted with service and food. We had corn dog, Saucy Veggie Udon with tofu, Garlic Noodles with Shrimp, Salt and Pepper wings and Garlic Shrimp Plate. After sampling everything...not a bad dish was had. They have an extensive Sake menu. Service was attentive and we wanted for nothing. Would 100% recommend."- Kevin Swindall
"Great restaurant for a date night or with a group of friends. Everything is flavorful and filling! We were 5 people total and split a bunch of dishes. Highly recommend the garlic noodles and saucy wings (medium?) We made a reservation for a Friday night but walking in might have been ok too. They have a large sake selection too, unsure what other drinks they have."- Heidi Liou
"Delicious!!!! 🤤 This place was the first asian fusion place that I've been to in a while and it was good. The ambiance/decor was great. Went with the family and we just got a bunch of small plates and an entree. We left stuffed and needed a long walk afterwards. They have Singh, Sapporo and a few other drink choices. We got a couple Sake flights, I didn't love mine (unique flight), but Sake isn't my typical go-to/ preference. Service was solid, could have been better. The staff were friendly, but there were extended periods where our waiter didn't check on us. I probably wouldn't have noticed had my wife not wanted to order another round of drinks. All of the food I tried was good. Their short bread pudding with ube ice cream was the bomb. Food: 4.6/5 Service: 4.2/5 Drinks: 4.2/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Price: 4.5/5 Overall: 4.5/5"- Khalid
"Such a nice and cute place! The ambience was really welcoming and casual. The food was exceptional. I thought a lot of the food was creative and the portions were perfect. The Thai corn dogs were such a surprise in taste. It was definitely a highlight for me! Would definitely be coming back!"- Tracy Ta
"The sake tasting was disappointing—the quality fell short of expectations, and the staff didn’t introduce each sake or explain their pairing choices with the food. It felt more like a creative Asian fusion experience."- Cloris Huang
