"Fantastic wok seared food. After driving out to Richmond for some tacos, only to discover it was closed, we stopped in at WenChang. I was craving some noodles and Mongolian beef. This place did not disappoint. Every dish was super fresh and you could actually see the wok seared marks on the noodles. Hard to capture how good the food was here. "Went on a weekend for lunch, had to wait outside for 15-20mins as it’s a tiny restaurant with 4-5 tables. Food came pretty quickly though! We ordered xiao long bao (soup dumpling), har gow (shrimp dumpling), potstickers, fried chicken wings, honey sesame chicken, bistro fried rice and Singaporean noodles. All the food was decent but only the bistro fried rice was delicious! We inhaled it so fast that I couldn’t get a picture of it. The har gow and string bean were good too. We’re pretty sure the xiao long bao was not handmade which was disappointing. Potstickers and fried chicken was standard. Would come back again if I’m in the Richmond!
