– Check your bill *before* you pay (they just casually add 10$ on top).
– The “move” is the following: You are already pulling out your card to pay. They will give you the card payment terminal to put your card on. While doing so, they will distract you: “Do you need anything else? T-shirts, sweatshirts?” so you will be distracted from the actual price on the terminal. Only to find out after leaving the shop that you were scammed.
No prices exposed, price Is made at the Moment. In our case, the same product in near shops, costs some dollars less and special price for 2. So we have spent 36 for 2 t-shirt and 25 in other shop, same products. They add more, commissions, for credit card payments.
The store charges you more money if you are using your debit or credit card. A $25 purchase comes out to be $29.43 with all the additional charges. Please bring cash or know they are charging an additional 40% on your card.
The store opening hours are incorrect. They were supposed to open at 8 am, but there was no activity to be seen at around 8:20 am. My advice to the owner is to update the hours.
The most attractive & largest gift shop stores in downtown. They have amazing products related of NewYork.Price is always good & staff are very helpful.

My go to spot for High End Glass products such as Toro and RipTips. The guys are always helpful and very friendly!
Absolutely the most legit head shop in the city. They carry the best of the best and have great customer service. Great selection of brands (illadelph, roor, grizzly, Sheldon black to name a few). Cant name another shop in the city that’s this good.
The best shop in the city especially if you are a glass collector or need supplies. And the hospitality is like no other ! appreciate you guys always
So Gus was absolutely fantastic and knew what he was talking about when it came to glass and accessories! Definitely suggest going to here to get any kind if glass, tobacco or accessory needs, but he also has great food recommendations as well! Got some great pizza and dessert because we stopped in here! He made our vacation so easy and had eveything we needed all in one store. The quality of his pieces and the amount of selection that was available was so nice. We are beyond happy with the piece that was purchased and the many accessories to accompany it. Thank you for your hospitality Gus and we can’t wait to stop in again next time we are in NYC!

Gift and Souvenirs
REALLY disturbing and harrowing experience of being aggressively scammed and verbally harassed here.
I thought I was scoring a major bargain when the vendor by the name of MO offered me a deal on some Carolina Herrera and Gucci perfumes. He said he’d even throw in a Paco Rabanne for my boyfriend (at the time anyway) for free! So I got all excited and whipped out my phone and wired the owners money via Zelle since I was out of cash and all my credit cards were stolen during my vacation in LA.
OMG get this. The moment I get home, I wanted to wait on the unboxing, especially for my boyfriend’s (but now, just a friend,) birthday. Oh my God I coukd instantly feel the most in my hand feel like water, and the smell was reminiscent of a watered down Pine Sol or Fabuloso cleaner. I was devastated. Was this the case for all 3 perfumes? Lo AND behold, it was!!!
I can never forget the anger I felt that night, especially after having expressed my gratitude to these store vendors that I appreciated their kindness and service, after they were so courteous to express their condolences of my recent credit card theft and robbery LA. But nope, the courtesy was all the way a lie. I guess the bad luck that found me in LA traveled its way with me to NY. Better luck next time! You folks stay careful and be wiser than me.
The employees are very helpful but not pushy. Spent more money in this store than any souvenir shops we visited during our stay. The prices were really good compared to other places!
Trump Merch in NYC? Lmao get lost.
Don’t even think about buying perfumes there. They sell cheap imitations!!!!!

CityStore
Needed a few fun small city related items as gifts but never in that neighborhood and didn’t have time to stop by the store. Made an online order, every item I wanted was in stock, new quality and arrived within 2 days.. love it when things go this right. Very happy with my purchase (and love going to the shop too- just don’t always have time!).
Wonderful NYC-centric gifts and souvenirs. Was helped by the delightful Liz; she’s a treasure!!
On my return visit I was just as pleased. This time the wonderful Maggie helped me. What a gem!! Give her a raise!!
Small shop with a lot of souvenirs. Some original and some are more common. Friendly staff.
If you are visiting the city from outside the country, I do suggest going here because you can pick up some priceless keepsakes for a reasonable price. Additionally, the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall Station, a hub for several important subway lines, is a short distance away.

Better avoid it
Great place for all your New York souvenirs! Loved shopping here.Don’t expect it to be cheap but the options and variety are great.Quality of the products are great too.
One of the BEST souvenir shops, though buried deep from the center of the WTC station. I was shocked by how hard it was wandering NYC to find just souvenir stuff so this is the spot to go!
I visited here the morning of April 16, 2024. I bought a LOT of souvenirs and a suitcase here. They had such a huge variety of items for all the people on my list. I honestly could’ve spent a lot more there, happily. The items are affordable, really cute and again it’s a huge variety from magnets to jewelry to clothing, purses, pet items, water bottles, coffee cups, luggage, Christmas ornaments, knick knacks, toys (stuffed, pull back cars, figures, dolls, baby toys…) art kits…you name it and you WILL find it here. The people running it are so nice and helpful! When I get back to NYC, I will absolutely go there again.
Zlaul was great, sold me an american flag lighter and my girlfriend’s grandma some cool souvenirs. He was a true pleasure to deal with and was unexpectedly professional. Will come again for sure!

so yes it’s true it’s a shop like any other, but the services that offer you the kindness they have towards you are well worth the detour!, I highly recommend this shop. =)
Variety of souvenir items here. I like best the name souvenirs. Unfortunately I only saw my husband’s name. It also sells the NY pill boxes and I bought 4 of them. They’re really cute and has trendy designs. I wish I had more time to explore their other items. Prices seem relatively expensive.
Okay, first of all, this is a tourist trap. And you have to understand that first. Their prices are super high and you’d never pay this anywhere else. But we’re in New York City and we’re going to get stuff for our family. The staff in the store were very nice and helpful. But you will want to shop in the very early mornings. They change prices all day day. Since most people don’t walk by twice, they keep changing prices. Also, make sure you haggle prices. Also, don’t buy from the racks outside. Those have been out in the elements (rain, snow, people touching) and you will never know. This is especially true for clearance racks.
we bought in bulk, hoping for a discount. the cashier seemed nice but scammed us of our money by putting extra items on the receipt (we did not expect this type of scam). Furthermore, they did not list the items that we bought on the receipt, just the prices, which was why we could not double check efficiently on the spot. I double checked once returning to the hotel and found out they tried to scam us of 14.59USD. Luckily I made a deal for a discount with them so we technically only lost 2USD to their scam.
They claim to have $3.99 shirts with big signs at the front, but this is misleading. The collection of shirts that actually cost that much are all awful. Their other souvenirs are about 15-20% more expensive than the surrounding stores!

A gift shop jam packed with tourist nicknacks and souvenir tshirts, what more can be expected? Price was as expected, a bit high but it’s NYC.
They sell stamps for postcards at $3.00! official price at US Postal is $1.50.
100% surcharge is not acceptable! Don’t go there!
Nice stuff but staff at cashier could be more smily… Look like they hate when we spend money at their shop…. Pity
Lovely gift shop with everything! Went there when I went to the World Trade Center Memorial. Lovely ladies waited on me, so friendly!

– I am familiar with the taxes, you clearly display a different price than you charge. After the fact I looked at the other reviews and they were right, unfortunately…
Charged my card for more than what was on my receipt AND (we were traveling and didn’t realize until we got home) didn’t give us everything that we bought. Followed us around the store like we were going to steal something.
Great variety of souvenirs at the usual prices around the city. However I noticed hand sanitizer being sold at $9.99! During this pandemic to be price gouging is unethical.
This shop will scam you. They will show you price but will charge you different ones.
Shady. We liked the gifts but at checkout, the cashier rings up everything and says $45.68. I hand over my card and he runs it. He hands me the receipt for $45.68 but my credit card alert shows a different amount ($47.28) and I question it. He tells me it’s a convenience fee and points to a little tiny sign behind him. I tell him that’s not very ethical and he simply says it’s a fee that they don’t make any money on. I tell him it’s a cost of doing business and I just get a blank stare. He then gives me another receipt with the fee. Nice place but really rubbed me the wrong way.

Souvenirs/ Gifts/ Rock ‘N’Roll
Very reasonable pricing and fast and efficient
aggressive and insulting seller. he called us ”stupid” and ”dumb” just because we didn’t want to buy from him. he pulled out a long iron bar to beat us with. we had to call the police.
The WORST experience ever. I decided not to purchase an item and was aggressively told to leave & never come back! Very very rude and if it were up to me I would give them 0 stars! Don’t waste your time or money.
Most bizarre and insulting experience I have ever had fro the guy running the shop, and I didn’t even shop at the store. Be careful just walking by.

They are racial, calling people who spend money there, “ Indian garbage”.
Be very careful here forks.
Trump merch in NYC, that’s all you gotta know.
I was witness to both owners confrontation
Of course they argued in Bengali
The only 2 words in English where customer and
Basket
The lady at the entrance said it was the same shop both sides are connected by a passage in the back, I just wonder.
Not sure if this is the actual store, but be careful if the workers are Indian, they tend to want to scam you into higher, over-priced purchases when the price is actually less than what they charge you, and they usually cover up by not having price tags on the merchandise.
We just came in to browse, and the workers yelled at us for not purchasing any items. It was very unprofessional…

Really great people. Very friendly and helpful. They even gave my young daughter a free NY snow globe. You can’t say that for many places in NY!
Make sure you check the price during checkout, they inflate the price compared to what’s displayed.
They over charge for certain Funko sand the majority of them are fake.
H jacks the price on the real ones and sell the fake ones for reg price.
As a collector I will never buy from them or any of there products plenty of other stores and hat are legit.
Great stop for anything & everything New York! Decent prices & great selection.

YES. definitely this pathetic guy has some mental issues. I was there with my wife and after deciding not to buy anything ,he started yelling very loudly and saying very bad words .I suppose to get mad at him but instead somehow I felt bad for him. his own mother was there and poor woman was so scared .This poor family need some social assistance to fix their problems.
Very very good 👍
The owner is a CRAZY guy! DO NOT walk in this shop! He will abuse and yell dirty words at you if you decide to not buying anything. It was frightening, totally uncalled for and I was actually worried he would hit me. Horrible experience for shopping at Chinatown! The owner of this store is crazy! Don’t go in! If you go in and don’t buy anything, he will insult the customers and tell them to get lost. It’s so scary! A very scary shopping experience in Chinatown! If a store owner doesn’t even have basic human qualities, please don’t embarrass yourself by embarrassing yourself! And he bites people like a mad dog!

New York Transit Museum Shop
They also sell EZ Pass here!
This museum has anything you could possibly want to know about the subway!
This is the museum store only to buy gifts and souvenirs for MTA. I found quality of tshirts pretty bad. They are over 20 bucks but not the soft quality you would expect. Overall many other choices.
Meh~ came here today to check out some merchandise. A few cute items . The sole clerk was pretty chatty with some customers but when an Asian customer walked in, he suddenly became all quiet and aloof. Transit museum needs to hire friendlier staff if they really want to make profit off souvenir items especially when you’re near tourist hotspots like Wall Street and the Charging bull. And we all know Asian tourists spend a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in NYC
GM. I just wanted to state that Miss Julia is a bright ray of sunshine when she answers the phone in the customer service department at 2 Broadway.
Her farther than exceptional customer centricity is awesome. She reminds me of an Auntie that I can yap with on the phone for hours. Very hospitable with upbeat and positive energy is not something I’m really used to in NYC whereas other customer service reps in other companies sound dry, stale and melancholy.
She was very happy to assist in my order of my Thumbs up face mask and welcome back tee order number 129941
Also who may I contact to give my accommodation for the wonderful Miss Julia?
Thank you Miss Julia for having MTA “going my way” in customer service @ The New York Transit Museum Store
